Chapter 153
They had eliminated Kim EunAh, but they wouldn’t be able to catch up by completing missions. The party leader’s main role was to figure out whether you were at an advantage or disadvantage.
Lorelei reached a conclusion.
“Angela… go to the generator right now.”
As soon as Angela heard Lorelei’s order, she understood the mission.
“Understood!”
Just like how they faced EunAh, if Angela joined Sebastian, they could target whoever had gone to the generator. On top of that, Lorelei would go to the entrance and stop whoever was left from going there.
‘Seeing how Sebastian hasn’t faced any issues yet, the one that started at the entrance… is probably Shin YuSung.’
She had to stop him at all costs if she wanted to win the match.
After organizing her thoughts, Lorelei raised one hand. As she did that, the golden wave rose from the ground.
‘If it’s for Aris and the people that believe in me, I must win…’
Lorelei rode the golden wave into the sky.

The Clock Tower’s generator spanned four floors and was at the apex of the building. Following YuSung’s orders, SiWoo finally reached it.
‘I just have to destroy it.’
If the goal was to simply destroy the generator, it wasn’t hard to do.
‘But there’s no point to that.’
[One of your party members has been eliminated.]
He wasn’t sure what happened, but EunAh had been eliminated. If the party’s number was reduced, then he just had to reduce the enemy’s number in turn.
‘This will be good to start with.’
SiWoo took a bazooka-shaped hunter equipment from his Pocket and then touched his forehead with his index finger.
Swoosh-
Blue light began emanating from SiWoo’s eyes. As he did that, he saw figures as if he’d just put on an infrared camera. Then everything in the distance became clear as if he was using binoculars.
It was his new skill, [See Through].
‘So he’s hiding there…’ SiWoo smirked.
When he saw Sebastian hiding behind the rooftop door, he was even tempted to enter and act like he didn’t know he was there.
‘I can’t do that.’
SiWoo shot the hunter equipment that looked like a bazooka toward the generator.
SWOOSH! BOOM!
The bomb exploded, and smoke rose. Sebastian’s eyes shone as he looked at SiWoo.
“I’ve been waiting for you.”
‘As expected, he’s okay.’
As the smoke dissipated, he saw cards that had been scattered away like a barrier turning into ashes and falling into the ground. It was Card Barrier, one of Sebastian’s skills.
SiWoo gave him a relaxed smile.
“Ah, you were waiting for me? Why? Did you want to surprise me?”
“With all due respect, I’m sure you know what the outside world thinks of you.”
SiWoo made a bitter smile at Sebastian’s honest remark. SiWoo wasn’t active like the other party members, he wasn’t a Seven, and the fact that he’d gone through the city guard’s special forces training hadn’t been revealed.
People thought he was, of course, weaker than Sumire, and they also thought that he was even weaker than Amy.
“I don’t care about what you think.”
“That’s a good mindset.”
Lee SiWoo smirked at Sebastian’s praise, but then he glanced behind him.
There was only one way in, so if he didn’t defeat Sebastian, he wouldn’t be able to enter.
‘Of course, I don’t intend to defeat him on my own.’
SiWoo started to run and looked back.
“How lame… Are you going to show your back to your enemy? I was hoping for a fair match, at least.” Sebastian followed Lee SiWoo.
If they just ran, Sebastian would soon catch up, but still, SiWoo was smiling.
‘One here.’
SiWoo threw something the size of a coin toward a corner of the building.
“I got you!”
As Sebastian extended his hands and grabbed him, SiWoo grabbed something in his uniform.
“Okay~ You got me.”

Paf! BZZT-!!
SiWoo activated his cape, and electricity flowed through it.
“Cough!”
As Sebastian quickly lifted his hands, SiWoo pressed a button within his shoe.
Swoosh-!
SiWoo was wearing Speed Runner, a piece of hunter equipment that increased his speed.
“Damn!”
As Sebastian lost SiWoo, he did his best to try to catch up, but he was just too fast. SiWoo passed through the hallway at an incredible speed, turned around the corner, and threw another coin-like device in another corner.
Tap!
‘To think that there are so many pillars in the building.’
SiWoo went down to the 3rd floor while still being chased by Sebastian.
He’d installed some traps, so…
“AGH!!” Sebastian’s scream was heard at the exact time he’d calculated. Struggling, Sebastian freed himself from the trap and kept running toward SiWoo with an obvious limp.
“To think you’d use…! A cowardly strategy like this…! In a sacred battle…!”
Lee SiWoo ignored Sebastian and went down toward the 2nd floor.
Paf!
Speed Runner stopped working. It appeared that it had run out of mana.
‘Despite its price, it seems like three minutes is the limit.’
Besides the 4th floor, Lee SiWoo had finished all of the preparations. To be honest, he only needed three, but he went to the 4th floor because of his perfectionist personality.
‘Just in case.’
He wouldn’t leave anything up to chance in the match. Once again, Lee SiWoo frowned and used See Through.
Fwoosh!
He hadn’t sensed someone on the 2nd floor, but Angela was on the 1st floor, waiting for him.
“Checkmate! As long as you’ve entered this building, you have no way out!” Sebastian screamed from the upper floor.
SiWoo made a relaxed smile as if he’d been expecting that.
‘Are you sure…? There are so many exits…’
Lee SiWoo looked out the window.
There was quite some distance to the ground, but it wasn’t high enough for a hunter to get hurt.
“Take this present, you bastards.”
SiWoo left a walkie-talkie and a handkerchief imbued with his mana.
Tap! Clang!
He broke through the 2nd-floor window and jumped down.
Pat! Tap!
He landed with perfect technique. Basic techniques like that had been so deeply imprinted into his mind that he couldn’t forget them even if he wanted.
“Then where…?”
Although glass pieces were scattered around, it was quite a comfortable place to watch the end of the stupid bastards that had tried to stop him.
“Ah, ah. Can you hear me? Oh, is something like this too complex for you to use maybe?” SiWoo said to the walkie-talkie, and Sebastian’s reply was heard after 10 seconds.
– You! You’re a hunter representing Korea! How come you’re escaping like a rat?!
– At least fight fairly like a representative…
Lee SiWoo clicked his tongue at Sebastian’s words.
“I don’t know.”
– What do you…?
“I don’t know about things like that. To me, this isn’t a game. It’s a war I must win, no matter how. For example…”
Lee SiWoo smiled.
“Do you see the device next to the walkie-talkie?”
– Slide.
He heard someone picking something up. Still grinning, SiWoo added an explanation.
“That’s a bomb I made. It isn’t hunter equipment, so there’s no limit to the amount you can bring.”
Clack-
Lee SiWoo loaded the bazooka again. Even if it was a hunter equipment, it didn’t have enough destructive power to destroy a building, but the story changed if there were small bombs scattered all around the place.
“If it’s to win, I can even bury my opponent underneath a building.”
BOOM-!
As the cannonball touched the walls, the building collapsed. SiWoo put the bazooka back into his Pocket as if nothing had happened.

Lee SiWoo was okay with having made a mistake once; that’s why he wouldn’t hesitate anymore. As he walked away from the explosion, his head was clearer than at any other time.
